PSYC 3355 Psychology of Women

The Psychology of Women examines the broad range of experiences women and girls encounter across their lifespan. Using both a developmental and topical approach, the course explores the physical, cognitive, and psycho-social aspect of girls' and women's lives. The course provides a brief review of the historical events leading up to modern women's psychology, as well as a rationale for studying the psychology of women. Conducting research on women's issues is explored with a discussion of the advantages and disadvantages of traditional methods. Offered as needed.
