ATHP 5322 Pathopharmacology
This course covers the pathophysiology of prominent acute and chronic diseases of the major body systems. Students will study the interdependency of body systems, the conditions that affect human health and well-being, and pharmacological basis for intervention. Other topics include associated risk factors such as social, economic, and cultural influences on disease presentation and progression, as well as their response to, and impact on, physical activity. Continuing care and optimizing outcomes will be addressed through the development of patient education.

ATHP 5412: Foundations of Athletic Training
