ADED 6382 Adult Literacy Education

This course is a study of topics related to the field of adult literacy education. Highlighted are the scope of the adult literacy problem, the implications of illiteracy for individual adults and for the larger society, the successes and failures of adult literacy programs, funding for adult literacy programs, and the governmental role in developing an effective adult literacy system.
