ARTS 4350 4x5 Photography

This course introduces the student to 4x5 camera photography and 4x5 darkroom printing as well as scanning the 4x5 negative for digital printing.  the course will cover the camera's movements:  tilts, swings, rises, falls, and shifts to be used for maximum sharpness in close-up details and for parallax correction.  the course will be taught with available light as well as studio lighting and will require the student to work with the 4x5 camera in a variety of genres, including architectural photography, portraiture, and object/product photography.  Five and one-half studio hours per week.  Fee.
