JOUR 30563 Digital Storytelling
Prerequisites: JOUR 10113 and 10303. This class is open only to journalism majors and minors and news media studies majors. This course introduces students to a multifaceted approach to online reporting and story production. Students will learn to collaboratively plan stories in a way that includes digital elements from the start, as integral and essential components. Students will begin to explore web tools that facilitate such digital storytelling, learning how to select and implement the tools in ways that enhance the value and efficacy of stories.
