LTWR 304 Problems in Romantic Literature: The Romantic Rebel
Begins with John Milton's Paradise Lost, and then examines works by a wide variety of Romantic poets including William Blake, William and Dorothy Wordsworth, Anna Barbauld, and many others. Concludes by examining Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein and exploring the idea that romanticism incited rebellion among women readers and writers.
