In 2015, Sacred Heart University purchased 150 acres of land on the Housatonic River in Milford/Orange, CT, which includes the Northeast's premier semi-private 18-hole Great River Golf Course and a 32,000-square-foot clubhouse. Located just 11 miles away from SHU's main campus, Great River Golf Club is a signature Tommy Fazio-designed facility that has been ranked one of the best in Connecticut through the years.
