CRJ 21000 Human Rights and Crime

Human rights pervade all aspects of life and all levels of society. Students are introduced to laws that achieve freedom and dignity for all in global settings in response to moral, civil, and criminal violations. Students will analyze responses to violations including genocide, slavery, and trafficking, torture, denial of liberty, and world poverty. International criminal tribunals and the prosecution of international crimes in international courts will be explored.
