ANR 10200 Cultural Anthropology

Students will learn central concepts and major research methods in Cultural Anthropology. Using cross-cultural perspectives, this course examines the values, behavior and social relationships associated with a wide range of marriage and kinship systems, religions, and economic and political institutions. By studying human diversity, the course will foster students’ intercultural understanding, increase their global awareness, and stimulate concern about the issues of cultural change and continuity.
