CRJ 25700 Professional Studies in Criminal Justice

This seminar and field experience will allow students to learn about the philosophy, public policies, social institutions and procedures of criminal justice agencies in foreign countries. The police, courts, corrections and rehabilitative services of other nations will also be examined and opportunities provided for field study and independent research in specific areas of interest. Comparisons will be made with consideration of the philosophy and processes in the United States justice system.

Prerequisite

Three years of experience as a Criminal Justice Professional or permission of the Department Chair
