Center for Advising and Vocation Services
The Center for Advising and Vocation Services provides academic and vocational guidance to new and continuing students as they move through their education at Rochester College. From the initial registration appointment, staff advisers work with students to establish an educational plan, define career goals, understand vocational aspirations, and connect them to co-curricular opportunities that will enhance their education and prepare them for life beyond the college experience. All new undergraduate FTIAC and transfer students are advised through the Center for Advising and Vocational Services regarding course selection and registration for their first semester. Traditional students are subsequently transferred to a full time faculty member with expertise in their field of study. Accelerated students continue to work with the Center for Advising and Vocation Services throughout their program. Graduate students are advised by the dean of the School of Theology and Ministry.
