Global Educational Opportunities (GEO)
Our world is increasingly connected, but it is troubled by misunderstandings. In this circumstance, it is important for students to consider traveling to other places to discover other cultures. Each academic year, Rochester College students are offered several opportunities for this kind of experiential learning. They may participate in a full semester program that is based in Vienna, Austria, or they can choose from short-term options (in Africa, the United Kingdom, Central America, China, the Western United States, or other locations). Some of the opportunities come with academic credit as well. Fees for GEO trips (in addition to tuition) vary from trip to trip and year to year. For more information about GEO, contact program director Dr. Keith Huey at khuey@rc.edu.
