CNSL 6490 Counseling Seminar
This course is designed to prepare students to take the departmental administered CPCE exam and NCE Licensing Exam through a study and synthesis of the coursework in eight core areas of counseling: 1) Social and Cultural Foundations; 2) Counseling and Helping Relationships; 3) Group Counseling and Group Work; 4) Assessment and Testing; 5) Career Development and Counseling; 6) Lifespan Development; 7) Research and Program Evaluation; and 8) Ethical, Legal, and Professional Issues.
