Library Services
A full-service library is located on each of PHSC's campuses. The combined holdings of all libraries are over 96,000 books and over 4,000 audiovisual resources. In addition to print books and physical audiovisual resources, patrons may access more than 190,000 electronic books, articles from 71,000 journals in electronic format and over 20,000 streaming video titles from more than 134 electronic databases. The LINCCWeb allows students and faculty to locate physical and electronic resources held in PHSC's libraries, as well as borrow library resources owned by any college library in the Florida College System.
The libraries provide full intercampus and interlibrary loan services. Copies of articles in books or journals owned by the library may be transmitted between libraries.
The library staff on each campus is trained to assist students and faculty to make full use of the library's facilities and materials. Instruction in using the library's resources is provided to any student or class that requests it.
The West Campus library houses an art gallery featuring monthly shows with a variety of themes exhibited for the benefit of students, faculty and the community.
