PHYS 107 Waves

An introduction to the physics of waves, including travelling waves, standing waves, superposition, the Doppler Effect, polarization, reflection, refraction, thin films, interference and diffraction. Applications include those from optics, acoustics, astronomy and modern physics. Includes one three-hour lab per week.
