BIO 340 Sensory Biology and Neurophysiology
Dynamic physiological properties will be examined in single cells, tissues, and whole organisms. Emphasis will be placed on sensory physiology and neuroethology (study of the neural basis of natural animal behaviors). Laboratories will utilize advanced recording techniques, including microelectrodes, isometric tension measurements, semi-intact preparations, and modern electronics.

One of the following: BIO 226, BIO 240, BIO 333, CHEM 301, COGS 250, PSYC 312, PSYC 322, PSYC 403; or permission of instructor
