CRJ107 Constitutional Interpretations of Criminal Procedures
A study of leading US Supreme Court decisions as they relate to the law of criminal procedure. An exploration of the 14th Amendment, the laws of search and seizure and arrest under the 4th Amendment. Additional topics covered are double jeopardy, self-incrimination, the right to counsel, confessions, Miranda warnings, pretrial identification procedures, and the rights to a fair trial.
