ALH134: Noncredit health courses are available to transfer through the Center for Alternative Studies.

If interested in creating a pathway for progression into another health program (NSD, OTA, PTA, PNR, RAD, OR RSP) take BIO211 in lieu of HLS102, if not ready for BIO211, take BIO101 to meet prerequisite and fulfill LA elective, if ready take BIO212 as your LA elective.

This certificate is designed upon completion to lead to entry level employment in the health care industry.

If you would like to continue on into additional health care pathways speak with an academic advisor for further course planning.

Courses are listed in the recommended order you should take them.

Many courses have prerequisite requirements that must be fulfilled to be eligible to enroll in the course.

There are multiple options to fulfill the Health Technician Electives, both credit and noncredit. Please reference the program of study sheet for more detailed information.

Taking classes in the winter intersession and summer can accelerate your time to degree completion.

All student degree audits for graduation purposes will be based off the official program of study the student is enrolled in.
