VNSG 1261 Clinical III - Practical Nurse
16 clinical hours a week for 10 weeks (2 Cr.) (10 external hours) Clinical experience focusing on direct client care of adult and pediatric populations in selected acute-care facilities. The student will be expected to apply the concepts and skills of the licensed vocational nurse and demonstrate LVN-level legal and ethical behavior, safety practices, interpersonal and teamwork skills, and utilize appropriate communication with clients, families, staff and peers. Prerequisites: VNSG 1133, 1429, 1334, 2431, 1230, 1460. Co-requisites: VNSG 1432, 1136, 1238, 1219, 1191.
