NURS 362 Cultural Competency for Health Professionals
(3-0-3) Open to any interested student. This course addresses the fundamentals of clinical cultural competence, cultural knowledge of process and populations that is needed across clinical settings, and cultural competence in working with specific clinical populations. These will allow students to apply both the fundamentals of clinical cultural competence and generic cultural knowledge in a way to develop new eyes, new ears, and new ways of thinking when providing healthcare.
