SSE 315 RF Transmission Lines and Circuit Concepts

(2-2-3) Studies using AC circuit theory combined with electromagnetic field concepts based on Maxwell's Equations and material effects. Areas of study include characteristic impedance, complex propagation constant, effects of dispersion, transmission line analysis, effects of matched and unmatched loads, and matching networks. Emphasis on practical applications and problem solving.
