EDUC 430 Foundations Of The Middle School
This course will explore the fundamental principles upon which the middle school is founded. Some of the topics to be covered include: the history of the Junior High Movement; the history of the Middle School Movement; creation of appropriate learning environments; consideration of various program designs to accomodate the developmental dynamics of the "transescent" learner aged ten to fourteen.
