Dissemination of Information
The responsibility of disseminating information to the various news media is delegated to the LC Community & Media Relations Office. Publicity services include activities related to public events, public relations, news and community relations, local print and electronic media and organizational communications. Students desiring off-campus media publicity about their club activities should first consult with the Director of Student Life. The Director of Student Life will confer with the Community & Media Relations Director to determine if the request warrants publicity in the news media. If so, the Community & Media Relations staff will cooperate with students in planning the required news media coverage. Students should not contact the news media for coverage of college events without the approval of the Community & Media Relations Director. The LC Community & Media Relations Office oversees advertising and publications.
Fund Raising in the Community
Student fund raising activities in the community must receive prior approval from the Vice President of Student Success and Enrollment and the Donor Relations and Special Projects Office.
