Transfer/Transient Students
Transfer students from other colleges or universities who are in good standing may be accepted for admission at Laredo College upon receipt of a complete transcript indicative of all college work taken. All transfer students are subject to TSI requirements. Assessment scores must be sent to Laredo College if not recorded on the transcript. Procedural guidelines for transfer students include:
- Transfer students must notify the Associate Dean of Students/Title IX Coordinator and the Office of Enrollment Management of any scholastic or disciplinary condition from other colleges or universities. Failure to do so may constitute a basis for refusing admission to the college and/or will cause the student to be dropped from all enrolled courses after being admitted.
- Students on academic warning or academic suspension from another college or university are subject to the same conditions as LC students on academic suspension status. These students need to appeal to the Satisfactory Academic Progress Appeals Committee for permission to enroll.
- Students on disciplinary suspension from another college or university may not be admitted to Laredo College until the period of the disciplinary suspension has expired at the other college or university.
