*NOTE: A student must pass an exam administered at the college before credit is issued for these courses.
A student may earn up to 16 collegiate credit hours for aligned high school classes. College credit will be granted after you declare a major in an approved program. To be eligible for Workforce credit, a student must have graduated from high school, passed the school class(es) with a final average of 80 or higher, enroll at Laredo College and report to the Dual Enrollment Program office within 12 months after high school graduation. Finally, the student must present an official high school transcript. The student must go by the Dual Enrollment Program office and have the "Petition for Credit" form completed. Once signed by the Director, Department Chair, and the appropriate Division Dean, the Petition for Credit is submitted to the Registrar for the posting of credit to the students' LC transcript.
