Scholastic Warning
The first time a student’s overall grade point average falls below a 2.00, the student will be placed on Warning academic status. The Warning status is an indication to students that the grades earned must be improved to meet the required 2.00 grade point average for satisfactory academic progress. The Warning academic status will be removed if the grades earned in the next enrollment term results in an overall minimum grade point average of 2.00 or higher. If the overall grade point average remains below a 2.00 at the end of the next enrollment term, the student will be placed on academic suspension status.
Students enrolled in developmental courses (including English as a Second Language) are not subject to the Warning academic status.
A student who withdraws from all courses for the semester or summer session will return to the previous academic status as indicated in the prior enrolled semester or session.
