Removal of Suspension by Summer Study
Students on academic suspension status may enroll for classes during the summer sessions without having to petition for permission to enroll. If the overall grade point average of 2.00 or better is reached with the addition of the earned grades during the summer, students will be removed from the suspension status. Students who demonstrate satisfactory academic progress during the summer session (term grade point average is a 2.00 or higher) but whose overall grade point average is still below a 2.00, may be changed to a probation academic status. Students on a probation academic status will be allowed to register for subsequent terms as long as the student meets with an academic advisor for mentoring on maintaining satisfactory academic progress.
