MATH 0301 Self-Paced Developmental Mathematics
Topics in mathematics such as study of numeracy and the real number system; algebraic concepts, notation, and reasoning; quantitative relationships; mathematical models; and problem solving.
HOW THE COURSE WORKS
Students will have the opportunity to complete three developmental mathematics courses in one semester.
Student placement scores will determine starting course shell. Student will work on personalized assignments and test at appropriate intervals.
Students are required to log in a minimum of five on-task hours per week. Students will receive credit for the course by earning a 70% or higher on the initial course shell and may enroll in Math 0304 to continue working on the remaining shells.
If a student does not complete the minimum requirements for the initial course shell, he/she may not retake the course and must enroll in the appropriate non-NCBO developmental course.
