ECE 428 Power Electronics

This is an introductory course to the elements of Power Electronics with an overview of the switched mode semiconductors to control the power flow in wide range of energy conversion applications. The course emphasis will be on analysis and design of three major class of power electronic converters: ac to dc converter known as rectifier, dc to dc converter, and dc to ac converter known as inverter.
