CPS 6991 DOCTORAL RESEARCH
This course is designed for doctoral students to build on their research competencies from their methods courses to prepare their doctoral dissertation proposal and dissertation. It provides a structured framework within which students conduct original research under the guidance of a faculty advisor, leading to the completion of their doctoral dissertation. The course encompasses formulating research questions, literature review, research design, data collection and analysis, and dissertation writing and defending. Students will engage in independent study, with regular advisory meetings to assess progress and provide feedback.
