Continuation of the physics sequence. Equilibrium and elasticity, gravity, fluid mechanics, oscillations and wave motion, thermodynamics and geometric optics. PHYS*2096 is a calculus based introduction to the fundamental of classical physics. Required course for Chemistry Majors (3 hr. lec. /1 hr. rec. /3 hr. lab.)
