EDMT 100 Fundamentals of Tech Drawing
(Contact Hours: 5) In this course, students and professionals gain functional knowledge of technical drawings used across all industries. Using direct exposure to 2D technical drawing, 3D technical drawing, and 2D/3D technical drawing markup software, students will become proficient in reading, annotating, measuring, and modifying 2D and 3D technical drawings, models, and schematics. Other topics include viewing sections and creating basic 2D orthographic projections and 3D models. AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and eDrawings (or equivalents) will be used. Minimum benchmarks will be enforced.
