EMT 255 Specialized Care Rotation
(Contact Hours: 4.5) This course is designed around patient care experiences in a variety of clinical settings providing students opportunity to assess and manage both pediatric and obstetric patients. While assessment and treatment plans are the main component of the course, participation in live births is also a requirement. This course is to be taken concurrently with EMT 251. PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of EMT 231, EMT 235, EMT 241, and EMT 245 is REQUIRED. Corequisite: EMT 221, EMT 225, and EMT 251.
