ELT 122 Wind Turbine Ops/Maint/Repair
(Contact Hours: 3) This course provides an overview of Wind Turbines and Operations. Topics include tower and rotor design, testing, operation and routine maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems involved. This includes blades, internal motors, hoists, gears and associated equipment, along with monitoring systems. Recommended prerequisite: ELT 102, ELT 120, and MSM 120. Minimum benchmarks will be enforced.
