UGR 377 Experiential Learning 300-level

This supervised internship provides an experiential learning experience where students integrate their academic knowledge with practical application. It also provides an opportunity to improve career opportunities and to develop skills and core capabilities for success broadly in areas of public service. The emphasis of the course is a synthesis of the students’ classwork and guided observations and assignments at the placement site(s), reflecting a dual focus on academic and professional development. Students work at their assigned placement sites, attend class regularly, and must complete regular writing assignments as well as a final research paper. Students do a minimum of 96 hours in their field placements.

ENG 201 and permission of the department/instructor
Notes
Students can repeat this course up to 3 times. Some offerings of this course may utilize the Credit/No Credit grading schema rather than letter grades.
