THE 300 Franciscans in History
is an account of the Franciscan movement from the birth of St. Francis until modern times. The course traces the internal development of the three orders of St. Francis and the ways in which they influenced and were influenced by society. The course enables students to see the Spirit of God at work in the manifold development of Franciscan communities through the ages, and there will be a special emphasis on the contribution of the Third Order Regular.
