Program Requirements for Degree Completion

The MS in Criminal Justice program requires successful completion of three (3)core courses and seven (7) three-hour elective courses which total 30 graduate credits.

The MS in Criminal Justice program will administer a Comprehensive Exam in both he Fall and Spring term once a student has completed 12 credits or more. Students must earn an overall grade average of B (3.00) for their graduate course work along with a C or better in each graduate course.

The program also permits a Thesis option which is reserved to those students seeking a PhD degree.
