| Technical Elective | 3 |
ME LABS - Choose two of the following: MEC 227 Strength of Materials Lab, MEC 351 Fluid Mechanics Lab, or MEC 361 Heat Transfer lab.
TECHNICAL ELECTIVES - Choose from any CSC, EGR, MEC, SFE, ACC, BUS, or ECO 2xx or above. Students should choose technical electives with advisor’s guidance. Other courses must be approved by the department chair.
OPTIONAL BUSINESS MANAGEMENT CONCENTRATION REQUIREMENTS: ACC 207 Financial Accounting, ACC 208 Managerial Accounting, BUS 407 Corporation Finance, and ONE of the following: BUS 307 Principles of Organization and Management, BUS 308 Quantitative Decision Making, or BUS 404 Operations and Supply Chain (an additional 4 courses, 12 credits required). Note that students have the option of taking ACC/BUS courses as their tech electives. If this option is chosen, students would only need to take an addition two courses, 6 credits, beyond the required 125 credit hours for the Mechanical Engineering program.
Technical Electives: Choose any 300-level or higher MEC class, EGR 260, BUS 202, BUS 205, BUS 206, ACC 207, ACC 208, or ECO 202.
