Withdrawal
A student may withdraw from a course(s) after the end of the add/drop period until approximately two weeks after mid-terms. The final date for official withdrawal is published in the academic calendar. To withdraw from a course, a student must email Registrar@franciscan.edu and copy the course instructor Within the email, the student should request to be withdrawn from the course, making sure to include course abbreviation, number, section, title, and instructor information. Once withdrawn, the Registrar Office will send an email conformation. Graduate students living on campus who need to withdraw from all classes should contact Residence Life.
No authorization will be given for withdrawal after the official deadline posted in the University calendar..
If a student officially withdraws from a course by the withdrawal deadline, a grade of withdrawal (W) is automatically assigned.
