ART 3610 INTERACTIVE ART

This is a hands-on course where students learn how to create interactive art works and environments by considering the expressive potential of motion, change, touch, and time. We will focus on art related principles while creating cybernetic and physical systems for real-time interaction. Course time will be spent learning software and physical computing techniques with the goal of creating interactive art projects. Through readings and discussions, we will cover topics ranging from interactive art/music, design, space, bio-art, net.art, land art, and installation. Offered Fall or Spring.
