OT 6241 Sensory Modulation Disorders in Children
The course Interventions for Sensory Modulation Disorders (SMD) in Children will explore and explain the concept of Sensory Modulation leading to an understanding of the associated sensory processing disorders. Core concepts for understanding SMD will be applied to developing and applying occupational therapy interventions to improve quality of life in individuals with SMD. Clinical reasoning will be applied through multiple case studies. Learning activities will include hands-on application and analysis of intervention techniques. Completion of
OT 5016/ OYL 5016 and completion or concurrent enrollment in
OT 5116/
