NURS 2002 Nursing Fundamentals
This is a foundational nursing skill development course designed to prepare the student to enter the clinical portion of the nursing program. It introduces content on areas basic to the discipline of nursing including physiological and pathophysiological concepts - 3 theory hours. Successful completion of both the theory and lab components of this course with a letter grade of 'C+' (2.3) or higher is necessary to pass the course. Prerequisites: Successful completion of
BIO 3600 and
BIO 3605 with a grade of 'C' (2.0) or higher (or concurrent enrollment). Successful completion of all required nursing pre-clinical courses (see prerequisite criteria) and admission to the Nursing program. This course has an additional $95 Fee to cover Kaplan testing expenses.
