EDUC 1100 Navigating College: Part I
In this 0.5-unit course, you will receive a warm welcome to Dominincan as you begin to build community with other new students. Together you will learn about the following topics from a variety of Integrative Coaches and dynamic DU faculty: Digital Portfolio, The Art and Discipline of Writing and Reflecting, Global Citizenship, Navigating Dominican Systems. You will reflect on your transition from high school to college and you will be prepared to navigate DU systems and learning platforms. Synchronous meetings will be held in Zoom and facilitators will provide introductions to using Moodle. This course uses the platforms Moodle and Zoom and is a blend of synchronous and asynchronous learning. Students need reliable internet access. For new first-year students only.
