HONO 3200 Aquatic Ecosystems: SF Bay Area

This class provides a holistic view of aquatic ecosystems: water & soil quality as well as plant & animal diversity. A major focus is comprehension how environmental issues like sustainability, natural disasters, and invasive species affect humans then develop and implement a civic project. The laboratory component includes gathering samples in the field and interpreting data in the laboratory. 2 lecture hours. For non-honors students by permission only.
