MATH 1342 Elementary Statistical Methods
Course Information
Course Description
Statistical description - frequency distributions, measures of location, variation; probability - basic rules, concepts of random variables and their distributions (including binomial and normal); statistical inference - confidence intervals, tests of hypotheses p-values, introduction to linear regression. Credit not allowed for both MATH 1342 and 2342. (Fulfills statistics requirement for admission to upper division nursing courses.)

Must have level 3 in Reading and Math
