PHE 211 BOATING ON THE THAMES RIVER
Boating on the Thames River - An active class experience with a hands on approach to motorboat operation and navigation. This includes understanding the tides, learning chart reading skills, how to operate a motor boat, and using a compass.
Notes
Two credits graded. Classes will meet at the Kohn Waterfront located on campus. At the end of the course students will be able to take the CT Boaters license test, which is $50. Students will take the CT Boater's Course online on their own at the end of the course.
