LA 301 STUDY ABROAD: THE NEXT STEPS
This course provides recent study abroad returnees with the tools to translate their international experiences into a lifelong academic and professional asset. Through a critical examination of the dynamics of cultural difference, concepts of global citizenship and intercultural competence, and the ethics of global travel, students will bridge the gap between their personal journey and broader international education concepts. The course focuses on helping returnees articulate their cross-cultural learning and apply a global lens to their future academic and civic engagements.
