BOT 493P PLANT RESPONSE TO ENV CHANGE

This course examines how plants respond to environmental change through a temporal lens. Topics covered include migration, phenotypic plasticity, adaptation, and novel biotic interactions. Students will learn how to understand present-day plant response by examining records from the receding of the last glaciation, and how we can use these data to predict response to future environmental change.
