BOT 335 EVOLUTIONARY ECOLOGY
A study of evolutionary processes that drive ecological adaptation within populations. Topics include natural and sexual selection, coevolution (e.g., mutualism), the evolution of sex, foraging theory, trait optimization and speciation. Students will read primary research articles, debate evolutionary and ecological theories, and learn to write persuasive arguments using evidence-based reasoning.
