ART 300 INTERMEDIATE PHOTOGRAPHY
A photography course exploring more intermediate to advanced technical, historical, and theoretical underpinnings of contemporary photography. Through focused projects, readings, discussions, and independent research, students will become more familiar with various frameworks of photography and other lens-based media. In this studio course, methods of image output, lighting, presentation, display and dissemination will expand upon approaches carried from introductory photography courses. Knowledge of basic camera operation, technical skills, and imaging editing are required.
Notes
Use of the darkroom requires previous enrollment/completion of ART 200A. There are a limited number of digital and film cameras available for borrowing. Students will need to purchase some of their own materials.

One of the following:
ART 200A,
ART 200B,
ART 236, or permission of the instructor. All interested students must email the professor, who provides registration overrides for all students.
